Redline
Roofing

Roofing software for the morning after the storm.

Hail goes through and the voicemail fills up. Redline turns those calls into leads, books the inspections town by town, builds the quote from your squares and keeps every roof moving from Lead to Paid.

Four hail calls before coffee

Add 4 leads from last night's hail, all want inspections: Dwyer on Fulton St, Pham on Ashcroft Rd, Russo on Main St, all in Medford. Keane on Linden Ave in Malden.
Redline

Ready to add 4 contacts tagged lead, each with an inspection job: Dwyer, Pham and Russo in Medford, Keane in Malden. Confirm?

Once they're in I can put the three Medford roofs back to back.

Confirm. Medford tomorrow from 8, Keane after lunch. Then quote Ortiz from these photos: 28 squares, two layers off, architectural, 30% deposit.
Redline

Booked Dwyer 8:00, Pham 9:30, Russo 11:00 and Keane 1:30. The Ortiz quote is drafted: two-layer tear-off, shingles, underlayment, ice and water, drip edge and ridge vent on 28 squares, $16,940 with a $5,082 deposit. Review it?

New contacts and quotes wait for your OK. Bookings go straight on the calendar.

Where Redline fits a roofing job

Storm leads that don't get lost

Every call becomes a contact with an inspection job in the Lead column. Home shows the leads nobody has touched yet, so the fourth call of the day gets the same follow-up as the first. See roofing CRM.

Quotes by the square

Give Redline the squares, layers and shingle line, or send roof photos, and it lays out tear-off, underlayment, drip edge and ridge by the square and the foot. A 3-tab, architectural and metal option side by side on one quote is in the quote composer (Solo and up). See roofing estimates.

Deposits before you order

Set a deposit percentage on the quote, then bill the deposit before the shingles are ordered and the balance after the dumpster leaves. Invoices and card pay links are on Solo and up.

Install day on one board

On Team and up, put the crew on the tear-off by chat and the job shows up on their phones with your job notes: dumpster dropped, materials on site, permit posted. Your crew never sees prices.

Photos filed by the roof

Snap before, during and after shots into Quick-Sort from the ladder and file them to the job later, so the decking you replaced is on record when the homeowner or adjuster asks.

Quotes that went quiet

The job pipeline shows how long each roof has sat in Quoted, amber at 7 days and red at 14. Ask "which reroofs are still out?" and Redline drafts the follow-up from your Gmail.

A roofer's week, honestly

Much of a small roofing company's week isn't on the roof. It's measuring, writing up numbers at night, calling homeowners back, lining up the dumpster and the shingle delivery for the same morning, and then chasing the last check. A storm makes all of it worse: twenty inspections in a week, and the ones you didn't call back sign with somebody else.

Redline keeps that in one chat. Inspections go on the calendar grouped by town, quotes are built while the measurements are fresh, and the pipeline shows every roof from Lead through Quoted, Accepted and In Progress to Paid. When a homeowner signs your contract, you move the job to Accepted and bill the deposit.

Insurance jobs pay in stages, and Redline doesn't handle the claim side. What it does is keep the homeowner's share in order: invoice the deductible or the upgrade as its own pay link, log each insurance check on the customer's file, and let the overdue alerts at day 3, 7 and 14 tell you which balance to chase.

What it does on a roofing job, and what it doesn't

Redline does

  • Turn storm calls into leads and book inspections by town
  • Draft roof quotes by the square, from your numbers or photos
  • Bill deposits and balances with card pay links (Solo and up)
  • Put crews on jobs and show their status on a board (Team and up)
  • Flag unpaid balances and tell you who to call (Solo and up)

Redline doesn't

  • Measure roofs from aerial or satellite images
  • Write insurance supplements or read adjuster scopes
  • Order shingles or schedule the supplier's delivery
  • Let the homeowner sign the quote online (use your own contract)
  • Text homeowners (calling is one tap)

Questions contractors ask

Can Redline measure the roof for me?

No. Bring the squares from your tape, your pitch gauge or whatever measurement report you already buy, and Redline turns them into line items. It reads roof photos you attach, but it doesn't measure from them.

How do I get the quote to the homeowner?

Quotes are saved on the customer's file. Redline can draft an email with the numbers from your own Gmail, and when they sign your contract you move the job to Accepted. Online approval isn't available right now.

My install crew is subcontracted. Do they need accounts?

Only if you want them on the dispatch board. Each person in the tech app uses one seat: Team includes 3 (you count as one) and Team+ includes 10. Plenty of roofers keep the sub off the app and call the foreman with one tap.

What does a solo roofer need?

Free covers the chat, contacts, pipeline, calendar and quotes. Solo at $29 a month adds invoices, deposits, card payments and overdue alerts. See pricing.
