Redline
HVAC

HVAC software that keeps up with the phone.

The first cold snap fills your day before 9am. Redline takes the calls you type in, finds the open slots, keeps the maintenance visits coming around and turns finished jobs into invoices.

A no-heat morning, handled by chat

No heat at the Okafor house, 14 Birch St in Westfield. She's a maintenance customer. Get me there today.
Redline

Added the call to Grace Okafor. You're open at 11:30, right after the Pruitt tune-up, also in Westfield.

Book 11:30?

Book it. And put Marco on the Delgado changeout tomorrow.
Redline

Booked Okafor at 11:30 today. Marco has the Delgado changeout tomorrow; it's on his phone now.

Assigning jobs to techs is on the Team plan and up.

Built around how HVAC work actually runs

Tune-ups that come back around

Book a spring AC check and a fall heating check as a repeating series, every 6 months for as many visits as the agreement runs. Save it as a preset like "Comfort plan" and it's one tap next time. See recurring jobs.

Service calls slotted in fast

Ask for a time and Redline offers the 3 best open slots, grouping visits in the same town so the truck isn't crossing the county twice.

Changeout quotes with options

Build a system replacement quote by chat or from a photo of the old unit's data plate, with a deposit to order equipment. Good, better and best on one quote is in the quote composer (Solo and up). See HVAC estimates.

A board for your techs

On Team and up, the dispatch board shows every tech's day. Techs tap Idle, En route or On job in their app, and they never see prices. See HVAC dispatch.

Invoice before you leave the driveway

Tell Redline the diagnostic, the parts and the labor and it drafts one invoice for the total, with the work in the description. Your customer pays by card on the pay link. Solo and up. See HVAC invoicing.

Your plan prices, remembered

Mention your maintenance plan price or your diagnostic fee once and Redline remembers it for every quote and invoice after that. See memory.

Busy season without the sticky notes

HVAC is feast or famine. The first heat wave and the first cold snap bring more calls than one person can schedule, and the shoulder seasons are when the tune-ups and maintenance plans have to be sold and booked. Plenty of small shops run that on a phone, a paper calendar and memory.

Redline puts it in one place you talk to. Every call becomes a contact with the job attached, every visit lands on the calendar, and the job pipeline shows which changeout quotes have gone quiet so you can follow up before the customer calls someone else.

Each morning the iPhone app sends one push with the most important thing to do first, whether that's a callback, an overdue invoice or an empty afternoon you could fill with tune-ups.

Straight answers before you switch

Redline does

  • Schedule service calls and repeating tune-ups
  • Quote replacements, with good, better and best options in the quote composer (Solo and up)
  • Dispatch techs and show their status on a board (Team and up)
  • Invoice by chat with card pay links (Solo and up)
  • Email customers from your own Gmail

Redline doesn't

  • Keep a flat-rate price book or parts inventory
  • Track trucks by GPS (status is tapped by the tech)
  • Bill maintenance agreements automatically each month
  • Text customers (calling is one tap)

Questions contractors ask

Is Redline good for a one-truck HVAC business?

Yes. Free covers the chat, contacts, pipeline and calendar for one person. Solo at $29 a month adds invoicing and card payments. You add the crew board when you hire.

Can it handle maintenance agreements?

It schedules them. Book the visits as a repeating series (every 6 months, for example) and save the cadence as a preset. You invoice each visit or the agreement yourself; Redline doesn't run automatic recurring billing.

Can my techs use it on their phones?

Yes, on the Team plan and up. Techs get their own simple app with their day, job checklists and notes, crew chat and one-tap calling. Each tech uses one seat.

Does it work on Android?

Redline runs in any phone browser. The native app is iPhone only for now, and push notifications need it.
