Redline
Scheduling and calendar

Find the time. Skip the back and forth.

Scheduling is where a contractor's day leaks. Redline's calendar looks at what you already have booked and offers the three best open slots, favoring days you're already in that customer's town. Ask in chat or tap Add event, and the visit is on the books.

Booking an estimate while the customer is on hold

Find a time for the Martinez estimate next week. She's in Quincy.

Three options:

Tue 1:00, right after the Paulson job, also in Quincy

Wed 8:00, first thing on an open morning

Thu 3:30, back to back with the Greer callback

Tuesday is my pick. Book it?

Tuesday. And push Greer to Friday at 10.
Redline

Booked Martinez for Tue 1:00. Greer is moved to Fri 10:00.

Booking and moving visits apply right away. They only touch your own calendar.

How a visit gets on the calendar

  1. Say what's happening

Tap Add event and pick the kind: Estimate, Job visit, Follow-up or Personal. Or just ask in chat.

  2. Take one of the 3 best slots

Redline offers three open times, one per day, with the best one already picked and a reason for each: same town, back to back, or an open day.

  3. Fill in the details

Set the visit length and time of day, the customer, the address, a repeat if it comes back, and notes for whoever goes.

  4. Tighten the week

Optimize looks at the next 7 days, fixes overlaps and pulls same-town visits together. Apply the moves one by one or all at once.

The details that matter on a busy week

Month view with a day list

See the month at a glance and tap any day to list what's booked on it.

Grouped by town

The assistant groups visits by the town or city on each customer's contact. Have three customers in Quincy and it tries to stack their visits on one day.

Sensible defaults in chat

When you ask the chat for a time, it plans around a 1 hour visit, a 30 minute buffer between stops, and weekdays from 8am to 5pm.

No credits for the calendar's own buttons

Picking slots and running Optimize from the calendar is instant and uses no AI credits. Asking the chat does.

Visits that come back

Mowing, pool service, quarterly pest visits: set a repeat and the whole series is booked in one save. See recurring jobs.

On the tech's phone too

On Team and up, a job you assign shows on the dispatch board and in the tech's app the moment you book it.

Straight answers before you switch

Redline does

  • Offer the 3 best open slots for a new visit
  • Group visits in the same town on the same day
  • Propose a tighter week and apply only the moves you accept
  • Book and move visits by chat
  • Book repeating visits from the calendar

Redline doesn't

  • Sync with Google, Apple or Outlook calendars
  • Let customers pick their own time online
  • Use maps or drive time (grouping is by town name)
  • Send appointment reminders to customers

Questions contractors ask

Does it sync with Google Calendar?

No. Redline's calendar is its own and isn't synced to Google, Apple or Outlook. Put work visits in Redline, and block off time you're not available as Personal events so the assistant doesn't offer it.

Can my customers book a time themselves?

Not today. The closest thing is the quote request form on your free Pro Page: the request lands in your contacts as a lead, and you book the visit.

How does it decide which slot is best?

It only offers time that doesn't overlap anything already booked. Then it favors a day you're already in that town, a slot it can put back to back with another visit, or an open day, and shows the reason next to each option.

Which plan includes scheduling?

All of them. The calendar and the scheduling assistant are on Free. Assigning visits to techs needs Team. See pricing.

Book next week in one message.

Start on Free and ask Redline for a time. The calendar and the scheduling assistant cost nothing.
