Redline
AI chat assistant

Run the business by chat.

Redline is chat-first field service software. Instead of digging through menus, you type what happened or what you need, the way you'd tell a sharp office manager. It reads your contacts, jobs and calendar, does the work, and checks with you before it changes anything a customer would see.

Between two jobs, from the truck

Mike Chen called, 22 Elm St in Medford, wants his gutters cleaned. Find me a time Thursday or Friday.
Redline

Ready to add Mike Chen, 22 Elm St, Medford, with a note that he wants his gutters cleaned. Tap confirm.

For the visit, Friday at 10:00 is open and you're at the Abbott job in Medford at 8:30, so it's back to back. Book Friday 10:00?

Confirm and book. Also, who owes me?
Redline

Friday 10:00 is on the calendar for Mike. You have 3 unpaid invoices for $6,840. Dana Ruiz is the oldest at 16 days, $2,900.

Want a follow-up email drafted to Dana?

New contacts and jobs wait for your confirm. Invoices and the who-owes-me list need Solo or higher.

What you can say, and when it happens

Some things apply the moment you say them because they only touch your own records. Anything that creates, edits or deletes a customer or a job, or that could reach a customer, is a draft you check first.

What it works from

Your live business

Contacts, jobs, recent activity, the calendar, your crew and your reminders. Answers come from your data, not a guess.

Photos from the job

Attach up to 6 photos to a message (JPEG, PNG, GIF or WebP). Send a shot of the roof or the old unit's data plate and ask for a quote. See quotes and estimates.

Web search when you need it

Ask about a material price, a code or permit question, tomorrow's weather, or a business you're about to work with. It can run up to 4 searches a turn, and searching uses credits.

Cards and next steps in the reply

Replies can carry a card (today, pipeline, contacts, who owes you, recent activity, Redline RPMs, calendar) and up to 3 tap-to-send follow-ups.

Talk instead of type

The mic button turns speech into text in English, in browsers that support it, like Chrome or Edge. It isn't available on every device.

History you can search

Every conversation is saved and searchable. On a team, chats are shared across the workspace, so the office sees what you asked from the truck.

Credits, plainly

Each message uses AI credits. Free comes with 4,000 credits for the life of the account, and they don't refill. Solo includes 13,200 a month, Team 50,000 and Team+ 300,000, and paid allowances refill every billing cycle.

If you run out, the chat pauses until the next cycle or until you upgrade. You can't buy extra credits. Inviting a friend who signs up earns both of you bonus credits that never expire. The calendar's own buttons, like picking a slot, don't use credits at all.

Straight answers before you switch

The chat does

  • Add and update contacts and jobs once you confirm
  • Find open times and book or move visits
  • Draft quotes, invoices and emails for you to check
  • Answer "who owes me?" and "what did I collect this month?" (Solo and up)
  • Remember your prices and habits as you mention them

The chat doesn't

  • Send anything to a customer without your OK
  • Text customers (Redline doesn't text; calling is one tap)
  • Place or record phone calls
  • Book a whole repeating series in one message (it books the first visit and points you to Repeat)
  • Keep going after your credits run out

Questions contractors ask

Will it change my records without asking?

Only low-risk things that touch your own records: logging a call, booking or moving a visit, assigning a job, setting a reminder, saving a fact to memory. New or edited contacts and jobs, deletions, quotes, invoices and emails all wait for you.

Do I need to phrase things a certain way?

No. Write it like a text to your office: "Reilly wants to push to next week" or "what's on tomorrow?" If something is unclear, Redline asks.

Which plan includes the chat?

Every plan, Free included. What the chat can act on follows your plan: invoices start on Solo, and assigning jobs to techs starts on Team. See pricing.

Can I use it on my phone?

Yes. It's the same chat on the web and in the iPhone app, on the same account.

Tell it about your first customer.

Start on Free. No card, nothing to set up first. Type a name and a job and Redline builds the file.
