Redline
Job pipeline

Lead to Paid, one column at a time.

The job pipeline is a board of every job you're chasing, doing or waiting to get paid for. Each card shows how long it has sat in its column, so the estimate you meant to follow up on two weeks ago turns red instead of disappearing.

Moving jobs without opening the board

The Reillys signed off on the kitchen at the walkthrough. Move it to Accepted.
Redline

Ready to move Reilly kitchen ($38,500) from Quoted to Accepted. Confirm?

Confirm. What's been sitting in Quoted the longest?
Redline

Hale deck at 19 days and Sorensen siding at 12. Heads up: the Hale quote has no price on it yet.

Stage changes are proposals you confirm.

The six stages

StageWhat it means on the board
LeadSomeone wants work done and you haven't priced it yet. Add it by chat or on the board.
QuotedYou've given a number. This is the column to watch for jobs going quiet.
AcceptedThey said yes. Time to schedule it and, on Solo and up, invoice the deposit if you take one.
In ProgressThe crew is on it.
PaidThe end of the line. On Solo and up, jobs moved here also show in Money under Ready to bill.
LostThey went another way. Kept so your close rate stays honest.

What the board tells you

Days in stage

Every card counts the days it has sat in its column. It turns amber at 7 days and red at 14.

Quotes with no price

A job in Quoted with no dollar value gets flagged, so a number you gave on site doesn't stay only in your head.

Filters that match how you think

Search, filter by town or service, show only Stale 7d+, and pick 7 days, 31 days, 1 year or all time.

Drag or tap

Drag cards between columns on a computer. On a phone, use the move button on the card.

Backdate old work

Add job lets you set an earlier date, so last month's jobs count in this year's numbers.

A job file behind every card

Title, value, stage, customer, notes and photos. On Team plans, the tech sees the job and your notes, never the value.

Why a board beats a list

A list of jobs tells you what exists. A board tells you what's stuck. When Quoted has eleven cards and four are red, you know your Friday afternoon: four phone calls. When Accepted is piling up, you're sold out and it might be time to raise prices or hire.

The same numbers feed Home. The funnel there runs Leads, Quoted, Sold, Scheduled, Done, Paid, and the Redline RPMs buckets call out work sold but not scheduled and leads nobody has touched.

Straight answers before you switch

Redline does

  • Show every job from Lead to Paid on one board
  • Age cards amber at 7 days and red at 14
  • Flag quoted jobs with no price
  • Move jobs by drag, tap or chat
  • Let you backdate jobs you already did

Redline doesn't

  • Move a job on its own (it proposes, you confirm)
  • Follow up with customers automatically
  • Import jobs from another app
  • Let customers accept a quote online and move the card for you

Questions contractors ask

Is the pipeline free?

Yes. The pipeline, contacts and calendar are on Free. See pricing.

Why did a card turn red?

It has sat in the same column for 14 days or more. Amber means 7. Use the Stale 7d+ filter to see them all at once.

Can I add jobs I finished before I started using Redline?

Yes. Add job lets you backdate, so last month's work lands in the right month.

Do my techs see job values?

No. On Team plans techs see the job, a checklist (before photos, the job, after photos) and your notes, never the price.

Put every open job on one board.

Start on Free. Tell Redline about the jobs you have going and it builds the board.
