Recurring jobs

Book the season once. Move any visit.

Mowing, pool service, quarterly pest treatments, twice-a-year tune-ups. Set the first visit, pick how often it comes back, and Redline books the whole series at once. Each visit stays its own appointment, so a rain day moves one visit, not the season.

What the chat does with a repeat

Start the Delaney pool weekly, Mondays at 9, beginning next Monday.
Redline

Booked the first visit: Mon 9:00, Delaney pool. I book one visit at a time from chat, so for the rest of the season use Add event in the calendar, start it the following Monday, and tap your Weekly pool preset.

The chat books single visits. The series itself is set with Repeat in the calendar's Add event.

Setting up a series

  1. Add the first visit

Open Add event in the calendar and pick the first day and time. It offers the 3 best open slots. See scheduling.

  2. Pick the cadence

Every day, every week, every 2 weeks or every month. Or go custom: every N days, weeks or months, with N up to 52.

  3. Pick the end

Stop after a set number of visits or on a date. A series holds up to 52 visits.

  4. Save once

The whole series lands on the calendar in one save. Move or delete any single visit later without touching the rest.

Repeat presets

If you sell the same package over and over, save the cadence once and reuse it.

Name it the way you sell it

"Monthly package", "Biweekly mow", "Quarterly exterior". Names can be up to 40 characters.

Carries the visit details

A preset can hold the visit length and the kind of visit, not just the cadence, so a new customer is one tap.

Up to 20 presets

Enough for every package you offer. Manage renames or removes them.

Same on every device

Presets sync across devices, so the one you saved at the desk is there on your phone.

Questions contractors ask

How long can a series run?

Up to 52 visits. Weekly service fills a year; monthly service fills more than four. When a series ends, start the next one from the same preset.

Can I bill a maintenance plan automatically each month?

No. Redline schedules the visits but doesn't run automatic recurring billing. On Solo and up you invoice each visit or the package yourself, by chat or from Money. See invoicing.

What happens when it rains on a mow day?

Move that one visit, in the calendar or by telling the chat "push the Kerr mow to Thursday". The rest of the series stays where it was.

Which plan includes recurring visits?

Every plan, Free included. See pricing.
