Put it on a tech
"Put the Smith no-cool on Mike after his 2pm." Or drag the job onto Mike's row. Either way, the board, the calendar and Mike's phone update right away.
The tech sees only their day
Mike's app shows his jobs in order, the office notes ("dog in yard, unit on the roof"), the job checklist and one-tap call. No prices, no invoices, ever.

Techs tap Idle, En route or On job. The board shows who's free, who's next up and who's done for the day.
Done, then billed
The tech marks the job done. It shows up in Money under Ready to bill, and the office invoices it with a card pay link.

Mike is On job at the Delaney tune-up, last thing before his 2pm. Sam is En route to his 1:30 in Agawam. Luis has the Kerr changeout all day with Joey riding along.
Smith no-cool is on Mike at 2:30 and it's on his phone. Lowe tune-up moved to Thursday 9:00. Want me to draft an email to Mrs. Lowe about the new time?

What the board does for an HVAC shop
One row per tech
Status, progress through the day and every job on it, plus an Unassigned row for calls nobody has yet. Stat cards show jobs today, unassigned and collected this week.

Why tapped status, not GPS
Redline doesn't track where your techs are, by design. The tech taps En route when they leave and On job when they're in the basement. It's less to argue about with a crew, and it tells you what you actually need to know: who can take the next call.

How many techs can I have?
Team is $129 a month with 3 seats, and you count as one. Team+ is $299 a month with 10 seats, and extra seats are $29 a month each. Every tech uses one seat; techs pay nothing themselves.
Do techs need an iPhone?
The tech app runs in any phone browser. The native app is iPhone only, and push notifications need it.
Can a tech see what the job is worth?
No. Job values, quotes and invoices are blocked for the Tech role in the database itself, not just hidden on screen.
I'm one truck. Do I need this?
Not yet. On Free or Solo you see your own day on the calendar and can still reshuffle it by chat. Add the board when you hire.
