Redline
Home services

Home service software for the route that repeats.

Lawns every week, pools every week, pest every quarter, windows twice a year. When most of your work is the same houses on a cycle, the calendar is the business. Redline builds the series once, keeps the week grouped by town and turns finished visits into invoices.

When the work is the same houses, over and over

A project contractor sells a job, does it and moves on. A home service business sells a customer once and then shows up at that house twenty or fifty times. The hard part isn't the sale. It's keeping every repeat visit on the calendar, moving one when it rains without breaking the rest, remembering the gate code and the dog, and not driving across three towns in one morning.

That's a different shopper from the one comparing big field service platforms. Home service business software has to be good at the repeat: series that build themselves, cadences you can reuse, and a customer file that remembers what the tech needs to know at the door.

A new biweekly customer, start to finish

Add Joanne Pike, 9 Orchard Ln, Needham. Biweekly clean, $160. She wants Thursday mornings.
Redline

Here's Joanne Pike in Needham as a customer with a $160 biweekly clean. Confirm and I'll save her.

Confirm. Book the first one.
Redline

Saved. You're already in Needham Thursdays for the Liu clean at 9, so Thursday Oct 8 at 11 keeps you in town. Booked.

Open the visit and pick your "Biweekly clean" preset to fill in the rest of the series.

The chat books one visit. The repeat control on the visit builds the series in one save.

How repeat work runs in Redline

  1. Set the repeat once

Every day, every week, every 2 weeks or every month, or custom: every N days, weeks or months. End after a number of visits or on a date, up to 52 visits per series.

  2. Save the cadence as a preset

Name it "Biweekly mow" or "Quarterly pest" and it's one tap for the next customer. Keep up to 20 presets, with visit length and kind saved too. See recurring jobs.

  3. Move one visit, keep the rest

Rain on Tuesday? Move that one visit. Each visit in a series can be moved or deleted on its own.

  4. Tighten the week

Optimize looks at the next 7 days and proposes moves that group visits in the same town. Apply them one at a time or all at once. See scheduling.

  5. Bill the visits

On Solo and up, finished visits land in Ready to bill and become invoices with card pay links. You send each invoice yourself.

What else a route business needs

A file for each house

Notes and photos on the customer: gate code, side door, the dog, what was treated last time. On Team and up, put what the tech needs in the job's office notes and it shows in their app.

New customers slotted in by town

Ask for a time and Redline offers up to 3 open slots, preferring days you're already in that town.

Two techs, one truck

On Team and up, group two techs for the day to share a route: just today, every week on that day, or until you undo it.

A photo of the problem, filed

Snap the broken gate or the green pool into Quick-Sort and file it to the customer later.

Questions contractors ask

Can I bill a weekly customer once a month?

Yes, but you do it: tell the chat "invoice the Pikes for October, two cleans at $160" and approve the $320 draft. Redline doesn't run automatic recurring billing.

Will my customers get a reminder the day before?

Not automatically. If a customer wants a heads-up, the chat can draft an email that goes from your Gmail when you approve it. Redline doesn't text.

Does it show the route on a map?

No. Grouping is by town name, not by map or drive time. That's often enough to stop the crisscrossing, but it won't sequence stops street by street.

What does a route business pay?

Scheduling and repeats are on Free for one person. Solo at $29 a month adds invoices and card payments. Team at $129 a month adds a second and third seat and the crew board. See pricing.
