Lawn care software for a season of Tuesdays.
Mowing is the same customers on the same day, every week, until it rains. Redline books the season from one save, moves the route when the weather turns, and drafts each customer's bill when the month closes.
A rained-out Tuesday
Today has 11 mows: 6 in Reading, 5 in Wakefield. Tomorrow already has 9 in Reading.
I'd put the 6 Reading lawns on tomorrow after your regulars and the 5 Wakefield lawns on Thursday morning. Want me to propose those moves?
Proposed: 6 Reading mows to Wednesday from 1:00, 5 Wakefield mows to Thursday from 8:00. Nothing overlaps. Apply all, or one at a time?
Schedule moves Redline proposes only happen after you apply them. Grouping is by town name, not drive time.
How Redline fits lawn work
The season in one save
Book a customer's first mow, set it to repeat weekly or every 2 weeks, and end it after 30 visits or on November 15. Save "Weekly mow" and "Biweekly mow" as presets. See lawn care scheduling.
Skips and pauses
When a customer is away, move or delete that one visit. The rest of the series stays put, so the season doesn't need rebuilding.
Month-end billing by message
"Invoice Ferreira for 4 mows in June at $55, plus one overgrown fee." Redline drafts it and you approve. Invoicing is on Solo and up. See lawn care invoicing.
Treatment programs
A 5-step fertilizer and weed control program is a custom repeat: every 6 weeks, ending after 5 visits. Each application lands on the calendar from the first save.
New lots priced fast
Send a photo of the yard with the lot size and Redline drafts the per-visit price from the rates it remembers for small, medium and large lots.
Who still owes for May
Ask "who owes me?" and get the list with totals. With chasing on, unpaid invoices are flagged at day 3, 7 and 14. On Solo and up. See overdue invoice alerts.
What running a mowing route is really like
A lawn business lives on repetition. Forty or eighty lawns on a weekly or biweekly loop, a treatment program on top for some of them, and cleanups at each end of the season. The work is simple. Keeping it straight isn't. One rainy Tuesday shifts the whole week, one customer asks to skip while another wants to switch to biweekly, and at the end of the month somebody has to count visits and bill everyone.
Redline handles the schedule side well: a whole season of mows from one save, single visits you can move or delete without touching the series, and an Optimize button (or "tighten up my week" in the chat) that groups lawns in the same town. The billing side is one message per customer. Redline doesn't count visits and bill automatically, so you tell it the number and it drafts the invoice.
In the fall, the same customers are your leaf cleanup and aeration list, and if you plow in the winter, they're already in your contacts.

Questions contractors ask
Can I import my customers?
Not from a file. Add them by chat ("add Joe Ferreira, 12 Oak St, Reading, weekly mow") a few at a time. Each new contact is a proposal you confirm.
Is there route optimization?
Not by drive time. Redline groups visits by town name when it suggests times or tightens your week, so Reading lawns stay with Reading lawns.
Can I run a solo mowing business on the free plan?
The scheduling, recurring visits, contacts and chat are all free. Invoicing and card payments start on Solo at $29 a month. See pricing.
How many visits can a series hold?
Up to 52 per series, which covers a full weekly season with room to spare. Each one can be moved or deleted on its own.
