Redline
Window cleaning

Window cleaning software, priced by the pane.

Count the panes from the driveway, say what's included, and Redline drafts a quote for outside only, one for inside and out, and one with screens and tracks. Storefronts stay on the calendar and homes come back around each season.

A colonial and a bakery

Quote the Whitmans, photos of the front and back attached. 2-story colonial, I count 32 panes outside. They want inside too, plus 16 screens.
Redline

Drafted 3 quotes for Carol Whitman:

Exterior, 32 panes, $224

Exterior and interior, 64 panes, $384

Inside and out plus 16 screens and track detailing, $520

Second-story surcharge is in all three. Review them?

Good. Also put Bella's Bakery on Main St down for Monday at 7, every 2 weeks.
Redline

I book one visit at a time, so for every 2 weeks: use Add event in the Calendar, start Bella's Bakery Monday at 7:00 and tap your "Storefront 2-week" preset. That books the whole series.

The chat books one visit at a time. A repeating series is one tap on a saved preset in the Calendar's Add event.

How Redline fits window work

Pane counts become options

Exterior, interior, screens, tracks, French panes, skylights, hard water treatment. Give Redline the counts and it drafts a quote for each level. Good, better and best on one quote is in the quote composer (Solo and up). See window cleaning quotes.

Storefront routes before opening

Shops and offices repeat weekly, every 2 weeks or monthly, booked early before the doors open. Up to 52 visits from one save, and each can move on its own.

Homes, twice a year

Set a custom repeat (every 6 months, ending after 4 visits) for the spring and fall regulars, or set a date reminder to call the ones who only book once a year.

Rain and wind days

Push a day's homes to the next open day by message, or ask Redline to tighten up the week and apply the moves it proposes.

Old glass on record

Photograph cracked panes, failed seals and torn screens before you start and attach them to the job, so nobody blames the squeegee.

Paid on the step

Finish the house, say "invoice Whitman, inside and out, $384", and hand over the card pay link. Storefronts can be billed monthly. On Solo and up.

How a window cleaner's year runs

Window cleaning has two rhythms. Commercial storefronts run all year on weekly or monthly routes, early in the morning before the shops open. Residential work peaks in spring and fall, with homes booking once or twice a year and plenty forgetting until someone reminds them.

The quoting is fiddly. Panes, French panes, screens and tracks all price differently, second-story work costs more, and customers want to know what inside-and-out costs compared to outside only. Doing that on the back of a card in the driveway is slow.

Redline handles the math on the counts, keeps the storefront route on a repeating calendar, and keeps every past residential customer on file. Before the spring rush, have Redline draft a short "time for spring windows?" note to each regular and send it from your own Gmail.

What Redline is and isn't for window cleaners

Redline does

  • Quote by the pane (good, better and best on one quote in the composer, Solo and up)
  • Repeat storefront visits on a set cadence
  • Bring residential regulars back around each season
  • Keep damage photos with each job
  • Invoice with card pay links (Solo and up)

Redline doesn't

  • Count panes from photos for you
  • Let customers book online
  • Remind customers on its own (it reminds you)
  • Plan routes by drive time (it groups by town)
  • Text customers the day before a visit

Questions contractors ask

Per pane or per house?

Either. Quote per pane with your counts, or tell Redline your flat house prices by size and stories. It remembers both.

Can it count the panes from a photo?

Don't count on it. Redline reads the photos you send, but the pane count should come from you. It's the number the whole quote rests on.

Do I need a paid plan?

Quotes, scheduling and the calendar are free. Invoices and card payments are on Solo at $29 a month, with a 7-day free trial on the web.
