Weekly pools, covered even when Dave's out.
Weekly service is predictable right up until a tech calls in sick on a Thursday with fourteen pools on his day. Redline keeps every pool on its weekly series and lets you hand a route to someone else in one message.
Running a pool route in Redline
Book each pool once
Book the first visit, then set it to repeat every week through the end of your season. A preset like "Weekly service, 30 min" makes the next pool one tap.
Put pools on techs
On Team and up, assign each pool to a tech from the dispatch board or by chat. Their app shows the day's pools in order with the office's notes on gates, dogs and equipment.
Cover a sick day
"Dave's out. Give his Thursday pools to Luis." Redline reassigns them, and they're on Luis's phone right away.
Handle the opening and closing crunch
Openings are single visits on top of the weekly route. Ask for a time and Redline offers slots near pools you already service in that town.
Bill the month
Invoice the monthly service and any extra chemicals or parts by chat with a card pay link. Invoicing is on Solo and up, and it's part of Team.
Thursday, 6:45am
Dave has 14 today: 8 in Boca, 6 in Delray. Luis has 9 in Delray. Kim has 11 in Boynton.
Give Luis the 6 in Delray and Kim the 8 in Boca?
Done. Luis has 15 today and Kim has 19, both updated on their phones.
The crew board, tech app and assigning by chat are on Team ($129 a month) and Team+.
Built for a pool route
Each pool keeps its day
A weekly series holds the day and time. Move one visit for a holiday and the rest of the season stays.
Visits grouped by town
Optimize looks at the next 7 days and proposes moves that keep each town's pools together. It goes by the town on the address, not a map.
Two techs on a green pool
Group two techs into one truck for the day when a green-to-clean or an equipment swap needs both.
Parts and chemicals receipts
Techs snap a receipt from the supply house in their app and file it against the job, so you know which pool to bill for the extra chemicals.
The visit nobody can prove
Every pool company knows the call: "Nobody came this week, the water's cloudy." The visit was on the schedule and marked done in the tech's app, and that record is on the job. Photos help even more. Snap one into Quick-Sort at the equipment pad and file it to the customer, and it shows on their file next to the job.
Redline won't log chemical readings or send the customer a service report, so if your customers expect a reading sheet after every visit, keep doing that the way you do now.

Questions contractors ask
Is this only for crews?
No. A solo route tech gets the calendar, weekly series and scheduling by chat on Free. The board and tech app come in on Team when you add a second tech.
How do I handle openings and closings?
Book them as single visits. They sit alongside the weekly route, and Redline suggests slots near pools you already service in the same town.
Can customers pay monthly by card?
Yes, on a pay link you send each month. There's no autopay, so each month is an invoice you approve.
