Pest control software for the quarterly grind.
Your business is hundreds of services that come around every three months, plus the callbacks in between. Redline books the quarters, slots the re-service next to a stop you already have, and reminds you when the termite warranty is up.
A callback between quarters
You're in Saugus Wednesday for the Lindqvist quarterly. 2:30 is open right after. Book Ferraro then?
Booked the no-charge re-service for Wednesday at 2:30 and logged it on her file. Reminder set for March 1: Ferraro termite renewal.
Reminders show up in the morning push on the iPhone app.
How Redline fits pest control
Quarterly service for years
Book the first quarterly, set it to repeat every 3 months, and up to 52 visits land on the calendar from one save. Save the cadence as a preset like "Quarterly GP". See pest control scheduling.
Callbacks next to a stop you have
Ask for a time and Redline offers up to 3 open slots, favoring days you're already in that town, so the re-service doesn't cost a separate trip.
Initial plus plan, side by side
Quote a one-time treatment next to an initial service plus quarterly plan as two options in the quote composer (Solo and up), so the customer sees the choice on one page. By chat, Redline drafts them as two quotes.
Techs on routes
On Team and up, each tech sees their day with your job notes ("exterior perimeter, eaves, stations 1 to 6") and taps En route and On job. Techs never see what the customer pays.
Renewals that don't slip
Termite warranty renewals and annual inspections get a date reminder on the day they're due, delivered in the morning brief on the iPhone app. See morning brief.
Collecting for the service
Invoice per visit or for the quarter by message, with a card pay link. On Solo and up. Redline doesn't run autopay, so each invoice is one you approve.
How a pest control week really runs
Pest control is a route business with a reactive streak. Most days are scheduled general pest services, one tech per vehicle, working through accounts that come around every one, two or three months. Then the calls come in: ants back in the kitchen, mice in the garage, a wasp nest over the front door. Some are no-charge re-services under the plan, some are new work.
Spring and summer are the crush (ants, mosquitoes, termite swarms), and fall brings rodents. Through all of it, renewals have to be sold, termite warranties renewed, and every account billed.
Redline handles the calendar and the follow-up side: the repeating quarters, callbacks slotted by town, renewal reminders, and invoices by chat. It isn't a chemical application log, so keep using whatever your state requires for product, EPA registration number, rate and area.
An honest fit for pest control
Redline does
- Repeat quarterly, bi-monthly or monthly services
- Fit callbacks into days you're already in that town
- Give techs their day and checklists (Team and up)
- Remind you about renewals in the morning brief (iPhone app)
- Invoice by chat with card pay links (Solo and up)
Redline doesn't
- Keep chemical application records for your state
- Write WDO or inspection reports
- Run autopay for recurring plans
- Optimize routes by drive time (it groups by town)
- Text customers before a visit
Questions contractors ask
Can my techs record the products they used?
They can leave a note in the job's crew chat thread, but that isn't a compliant application record. Keep your state-required log in the system you use today.
Can I bill the quarterly service automatically?
No. Redline drafts each invoice when you ask ("invoice Ferraro for the fall quarterly, $135") and you approve it. There's no autopay.
How far ahead can I book a quarterly account?
A series holds up to 52 visits, which is 13 years of quarterly service. Each visit can be moved or deleted on its own when a customer reschedules.
What plan does a route with two techs need?
Team at $129 a month includes 3 seats, so you plus two techs. Team+ includes 10 seats for $299.
