Redline
Carpet cleaning

Carpet cleaning software for when three rooms becomes five.

They booked three rooms. Then they point at the hallway, the stairs and the spot where the dog had an accident. Redline puts every add-on on the invoice, takes the card before you coil the hose and books them again for next spring.

Add-ons at the door, billed in one message

Done at the Patel house. Booked 3 rooms, she added the hallway, 13 stairs and pet treatment in the living room. Invoice it.

Invoice drafted for Priya Patel: $307, "Carpet cleaning, 3 rooms, hallway, 13 stairs, pet urine treatment". That's 3 rooms at $55, hallway $25, stairs at $4 and pet treatment $65 from your prices.

Approve it and the pay link goes live.

Approved. Book her again in 6 months.

Built for jobs that grow at the door

Room counts that change on arrival

Price per room, per square foot, per step or per piece of furniture. When the job grows at the door, say what changed and the invoice matches. See invoicing.

Upsells that actually get billed

Stain protector, pet treatment, a sofa and a loveseat: add them by chat while you're packing up. Your add-on prices and your minimum charge are remembered once you've said them.

Rebooking every 6 to 12 months

Book the next cleaning as a repeating visit every 6 or 12 months, or save a "Twice a year" preset. Past customers stay on the calendar instead of in an old notebook. See recurring jobs.

Commercial maintenance on a schedule

Office and restaurant carpets on a monthly or quarterly plan go on as a repeating series, each visit movable on its own. You invoice each visit.

Pre-existing stains on record

Snap the wicking stain or the worn traffic lane before you start and file it to the customer with Quick-Sort. When they ask why it's still there, the photo is on their file.

A truck-mount, a van and a full calendar

A lot of carpet cleaners run one or two vans with a truck-mount and one or two people each. The day is a string of 2 to 3 hour jobs, priced by the room or the square foot, with upholstery and tile and grout on top. The schedule fills up in spring and right before the holidays, when everyone wants clean carpets before company comes.

The money leaks in two places. First, the add-ons: the extra room, the stairs, the protector the customer said yes to while you were wrapping hoses. If they don't get written down, they don't get billed. Second, the rebooking: a customer who was happy last spring would book again, but nobody called them.

Redline closes both. The invoice is drafted from what you say, add-ons included, and paid by card on the pay link before you leave. The next visit goes on the calendar as a repeat, so the customer you made happy in April is already booked for October, and a quick call or a Gmail note confirms it.

Questions contractors ask

Can I price by the room and by the square foot?

Yes. Each line is a quantity and a price, so you can quote rooms for one customer and square feet for a commercial job. Redline uses whichever you tell it.

Will Redline remind customers to rebook?

No, it doesn't contact customers on its own. Book the next visit as a repeat so it's on your calendar, then call or email from your Gmail to confirm the date.

Can I set a minimum charge?

Tell Redline your minimum once and it remembers it. When a job comes in under it, ask Redline to bill the minimum and check the draft before you approve it.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. Free covers the chat, contacts, calendar and repeating visits for one person. Invoicing and card payments start on Solo at $29 a month. See pricing.
