Redline
Window cleaning quotes

Count the panes, Redline does the rest.

Thirty-two panes, eight of them French, screens on the first floor, and the back is all second story. Window quotes swing a lot on the add-ons. Redline itemizes every one so the price makes sense to the customer and to you.

From the pane count to the next visit

  1. Count it

Walk the outside or work from photos. Panes by type, screens, tracks, skylights, and which windows need the ladder.

  2. Message the count

"24 standard panes, 8 French, 12 screens, tracks on 10, back side is second story." Redline puts each on its own line at your rates.

  3. Offer the tiers

Outside only, inside and out, or inside and out with screens and tracks. Good, better and best, side by side, each with its own total.

  4. Save and send

The quote saves on the customer's file. Move the job to Quoted, and Redline drafts the email from your Gmail.

  5. Book the job, then the next one

When it's done, set the same visit to repeat every 6 months, or set a reminder to call them in the spring.

A colonial with French panes

Quote the Morrisons. 24 standard panes, 8 French panes on the front door and sidelights, 12 screens, tracks on 10 windows. Back of the house is second story. Three options.
Redline

Three drafts for Paul Morrison, one per option:

Good exterior only, $245

Better inside and out, $410

Best inside and out, screens washed, tracks detailed, $525

Second-story surcharge is on each option. French panes are priced per pane. Save them?

Save them. If they book, I want them back every spring and fall.
Redline

Saved to the Morrison file. When you book the first visit, set it to repeat every 6 months and they'll be on the calendar for spring and fall.

Quotes by chat work on every plan. Example prices only.

Commercial storefronts usually go per visit instead. Book those as a weekly or monthly series.

The money is in the second visit

A residential window customer is worth a lot more over five years than on one Saturday. The trouble is that six months is long enough to forget them, and they don't call you; they call whoever left a flyer that week.

Booking the next visit before you leave fixes that. Set the first job to repeat every 6 months and they're already on the calendar, or set a date reminder and it comes back in your morning push the day you should call. Both are on the Free plan.

Questions contractors ask

Can I quote from photos the customer sends?

Yes. Attach up to 6 photos to one message. Redline can read them for window types and stories, but count the panes yourself before you save. A missed side of the house is the usual mistake.

How do I get last year's customers back?

Ask the chat who you cleaned last spring, then have it draft a short email to each, sent from your Gmail after you approve it. There's no mass email tool.

How do I price the second story?

As a surcharge per window or per job, whichever you use. Tell Redline once and it adds it whenever you say a side of the house is second story. Quoting is free; invoices start on Solo at $29 a month.
