Service Autopilot alternatives for crews that don't need the autopilot yet.

Service Autopilot is built to automate a lawn or cleaning company with crews: routing, GPS, automated texts, billing runs, campaigns. If you run one or two trucks and know every stop by name, here's how the alternatives compare.

What Service Autopilot is built for, and where the features sit

Service Autopilot is scheduling, routing, invoicing and automation software for lawn care, landscaping, snow removal and cleaning companies, mostly with crews. Recurring jobs run at any cadence. The crew app handles estimates, photos, notes, time tracking and chemical and asset tracking, and crews are tracked by GPS. Automations send estimate follow-ups, invoices, past-due reminders, texts and email campaigns, and SA Payments batch-charges unpaid accounts.

Service Autopilot's pricing page lists Startup at $49 a month, Pro at $199 and Pro Plus at $499, stated as annual subscription rates, with Elite by request and add-ons priced separately. Startup is simple scheduling and invoicing. Estimates and proposals, advanced route optimization and GPS start on Pro; workflow automations, feedback surveys and marketing campaigns on Pro Plus.

So the features most people buy it for sit on the $199 and $499 tiers, on annual rates. For a 6-crew company billing hundreds of weekly accounts, the automations are the point. For an owner-operator with 40 mows a week, run the numbers first. Two-way comparison: Redline vs Service Autopilot.

Tightening a mowing week by town

Tighten up next week. I've got Lexington stops on three different days.
Redline

I'd move Ruiz from Wednesday and Okoye from Friday to Monday, with your other 4 Lexington stops. Apply both?

Yes. And book the Callahan property as a new weekly mow, starting Tuesday.
Redline

Moved both. Booked the first Callahan mow for Tuesday 9am. To make it weekly, tap Repeat on that visit and pick your Weekly mow preset.

Questions contractors ask

Can Redline bill my weekly accounts automatically?

No. There's no automatic recurring billing and no batch charging. On Solo or above you invoice the work yourself: by chat, or from Ready to bill, where Send all bills every finished job in one go.

Does Redline route my crews?

Not by map. Optimize looks at the next 7 days, fixes overlaps and puts stops in the same town on the same day. It doesn't know drive times or stop order, and there's no GPS. See lawn care scheduling.

What about snow?

Book plow and salting visits on the calendar and invoice them on Solo. Nothing is triggered by a storm, so you book and bill each push yourself. See snow removal invoicing.
