Leap alternatives for contractors who close at the kitchen table.

Leap is built for the one-call close: a rep at the table with product pricing, a tiered proposal, a signature and a financing application. If your business doesn't sell that way, or the owner is still the only salesperson, here's what else fits.

Who Leap is for, and how it's sold

Leap makes two products for home improvement contractors who sell in the home: roofing, gutters, siding, windows and doors, decking, kitchen and bath. Leap CRM handles jobs and customers. Leap SalesPro runs the appointment: reps pull product pricing at the table, build good, better and best proposals, collect a signature on the iPad or phone (or remotely), and submit one credit application across up to 12 lending partners. SalesPro runs without wifi and syncs later.

It's priced by product and by user count. Leap's own pages describe separate CRM and SalesPro plans, and the listed SalesPro plan starts at 6 users. That suits a window or roofing company with a sales floor. A two-person roofing crew where the owner sells on Tuesday and tears off on Wednesday is paying for a sales team it doesn't have.

If financing at the table closes your deals, keep Leap or something like it. Redline has no financing, no on-site e-signature and no offline mode. If you mostly need to quote fast and keep jobs moving, read on. Two-way comparison: Redline vs Leap.

Questions contractors ask

Can customers sign a Redline quote?

Not today. Quotes are saved as drafts and you email them from your Gmail. When the customer agrees, you move the job to Accepted. If signing on the spot is how you close, that's a reason to stay with Leap.

Does Redline offer customer financing?

No. There's no financing. Customers pay by card on a pay link that runs on your own Stripe account, and you can bill a deposit first on Solo.

Does Redline work without signal?

Only partly. A call you log with no signal is saved and syncs when you're back online. Everything else needs a connection. Leap SalesPro is built to run the appointment offline.
