Redline
Masonry

Masonry software for a schedule the weather owns.

Mortar doesn't care about your calendar. Redline quotes the job from your site visit, holds it with a deposit and moves everything back a week in one message when the forecast turns cold.

A quote, then a cold snap

Quotes, weather and what's behind the brick

Quotes from the site visit

Send the photos and the measurements, and Redline drafts lines per square foot of face, per block, per linear foot of cap, with scaffolding per day and demo flat. See quotes and estimates.

Weather moves in one message

Push a job, or ask Optimize to propose new times for the week, and the calendar updates. You can even ask the chat to look up the forecast; web searches use credits. See scheduling.

Deposits before you order stone

Veneer, cap stone and wall block often need ordering. On Solo and up, bill the deposit as its own invoice with a card pay link before you place the order.

Deterioration found on the job

When the joints behind the downspout are worse than they looked, tell Redline what you added and it goes into the final invoice total and description. On Solo and up.

Scaffold rental and materials on the job

Log scaffold rental, mortar and stone as expenses on the job, and Reports shows profit per job after them. On Solo and up. See expenses and reports.

Warm-weather work with a long tail

A small masonry outfit is a mason and 2 or 3 laborers, working from spring until the nights get too cold for mortar to cure. The work is a mix: repointing an old brick front, rebuilding a set of steps, a retaining wall in the back yard, stone veneer on a new foundation. Nearly all of it is quoted from a site visit, and almost none of it is the same twice.

Weather runs the schedule. A week of rain or a cold snap pushes everything, and every customer on the list needs a new date. Moving those by hand on a paper calendar is how jobs get double-booked. In Redline it's one message instead of a page of eraser marks, and on Team and up the dispatch board shows which crew is on which job today.

The other long tail is what you find once you start. Spalled brick under the paint, a footing that's moved, a cap that's worse than it looked from the ground. Those go into the final invoice, so the customer pays for what you actually did.

Straight answers for masons

Redline does

  • Quote from site photos and your measurements
  • Move one job or a whole week by chat
  • Bill deposits before you order stone (Solo and up)
  • Add extra work found on site to the final invoice (Solo and up)
  • Show profit per job after materials and rentals (Solo and up)

Redline doesn't

  • Count brick or block for a takeoff
  • Produce engineering or permit drawings for walls
  • Watch the weather and move jobs on its own
  • Track scaffolding or equipment you own
  • Text customers about the new date (calling is one tap)

Questions contractors ask

Does Redline reschedule for weather automatically?

No. You tell it what to move, or ask Optimize to propose new times, and you confirm. It can look up a forecast if you ask, but it doesn't watch the weather for you.

Can I quote a retaining wall by square foot of face?

Yes. Each line is a quantity and a price in whatever unit you use. Engineering and permits for taller walls stay outside Redline.

Is there a free plan for a small masonry business?

Yes. Free covers the chat, contacts, pipeline, calendar and quotes for one person. Solo at $29 a month adds invoices, deposits and card payments. See pricing.
