House cleaning quotes

Quote the clean without seeing the house.

A lot of cleaning leads want a price before they'll let you in the door. Send Redline the beds, baths, square feet and what they mentioned about the oven, and get a first-clean price and a recurring price in one quote.

From inquiry to the first clean

  1. Get the home details

Beds, baths, rough square feet, pets, how long since it was last cleaned. Ask for a few photos of the kitchen and bathrooms if they'll send them.

  2. Send them to Redline

"3 bed, 2 bath, 1,800 sq ft, two dogs, hasn't been cleaned in months, wants inside the oven and fridge." Attach any photos to the same message.

  3. Show the choices

A one-time deep clean with each add-on on its own line, so they can see what each one costs. Your weekly, biweekly and monthly rates go on as $0 lines, so they show without adding to the total.

  4. Save it and email it

The quote saves on their file; move the job to Quoted. Redline drafts an email with the options from your Gmail.

  5. After the first clean, set the series

Book the deep clean, then set the recurring visits at the cadence they picked. One save books the rest of the year.

A new client inquiry

Quote Dana Whitfield. 3 bed, 2 bath, about 1,800 sq ft, two dogs. First clean is a deep clean plus inside oven and fridge. Then she wants biweekly. Show weekly and monthly too.
Redline

Draft for Dana Whitfield:

First visit: deep clean $340, inside oven $45, inside fridge $40, pet hair $25. Total $450.

Recurring standard clean as $0 lines, per visit:

Weekly $145

Biweekly $165

Monthly $195

Look right?

Good. Add a line for 10% off the first clean if she books by Friday, and draft her an email.
Redline

Added as a $0 line. Approve the quote to save it on her file. The email with the prices and the Friday discount is ready for you to send from your Gmail.

Why the first quote is two prices

A first clean takes longer than every clean after it. If you quote one number, either the deep clean loses money or the recurring rate scares them off. Putting both on the same quote, the deep clean first and the recurring options under it, answers the question they're really asking: what will this cost me every month.

It also stops the add-on argument. When inside-the-oven is its own line on the quote, nobody's surprised when it's on the invoice.

Questions contractors ask

Will Redline remember my pricing?

Yes. Tell it your rates once ("standard biweekly 3/2 is $165") and it saves them on its own. You can see and edit saved facts in Settings, under Memory.

Can I take a deposit for move-outs?

Yes, on Solo and up. Put a deposit percentage on the quote and invoice the deposit once they confirm. The client pays by card on a pay link.

What if the house is a lot dirtier than they said?

Say on the quote that the deep clean price assumes the home as described. If it takes longer, bill the extra time in the invoice total and say so in its line. Quotes are free; invoices start on Solo at $29 a month.
