Last spring's houses are this spring's schedule.
A house you washed last April is the easiest booking you'll get this April, if somebody asks. Redline keeps every wash on file by town and date, tells you who hasn't come back, and drafts the note from your own Gmail.
Working your list instead of buying leads
Every wash stays on file
Paid jobs stay in the pipeline under Paid with the customer, the town, the surfaces and the price. Nothing to export at the end of the season.
Catch the neighbor on the spot
When someone walks over mid-wash, add them as a lead before you go back to the wand: "add Pat Kerr, 14 Pine St, wants the driveway done".
Pull the rebook list in late winter
Look at Paid jobs in the pipeline over the last year, narrowed by town, or just ask Redline for last spring's washes in a town. That's your first two weeks of work, before any ad runs.
Draft the notes, send them yourself
Redline drafts a short "time for this year's wash?" email for each customer. Each one waits for you to check, then goes from your own Gmail.
Track the answers
Yeses become jobs in Quoted or straight onto the calendar. Log the answers you get, then ask "who did I email that hasn't booked?" a week later and call those.
February, planning the spring
8 jobs Paid in Plymouth between April and June last year: Abbott, Chu, Delgado, Fenn, Haskell, Kerr, Moreno, Silva. None of them has a job this year yet.
Draft a rebooking note for each?
8 drafts ready, each with last year's price and the April 14 week. Review them before they go from your Gmail.
Emails go only after you review them, from your own Gmail. Redline never contacts customers on its own.
Where the leads come from, and where they go
The neighbor who walked over
Added as a lead in one message, tagged lead, with the address and what they asked about. Home shows leads nobody has touched yet.
Your Pro Page form
Quote requests from your free Pro Page land in Contacts as leads. Free shows 3 a month in full, paid plans show them all.
Quiet customers
The Quiet filter in Contacts shows people you haven't been in touch with for a while. Good for a rainy afternoon of calls.
Last year's no
Quotes that went to Lost are still on file. The customer who said "next year" is a fair email in March.
Commercial accounts
Storefronts and property managers sit as one contact with a job per location, so the account history is in one place when they ask for a re-quote.
Photos of last year's wash
Before and after shots filed to the job are there when a customer asks what you did last time.
Why rebooking beats chasing new leads
A new lead in April is price-shopping three washers from a few photos. Last year's customer already knows your work, already paid your price, and mostly needs to be asked before someone else's door hanger does it. The work is remembering who they were and getting to them first.
Redline doesn't run campaigns or send anything automatically. You pick the list, it drafts each note, you send it. For a one-rig business that's usually the right amount of automation: personal enough that it reads like you, fast enough that you actually do it.
Straight answers on wash customer lists
Redline does
- Keep every wash on file with town, date and price
- Add walk-over neighbors as leads in one message
- Filter last season's Paid jobs by town
- Draft rebooking emails sent from your Gmail
- Show untouched leads and quotes gone quiet on Home
Redline doesn't
- Send email or text campaigns on its own
- Import your old customer spreadsheet
- Ask customers for reviews
- Print door hangers or track postcards
- Read replies in your inbox (Gmail is send-only)
Questions contractors ask
Can I bring in my customers from last year's spreadsheet?
Not from a file. Add them by chat a few at a time ("add Joe Fenn, 22 Court St, Plymouth, house wash last May $420"). Each one is a proposal you confirm.
Will Redline see when they reply?
No. Gmail is connected send-only, so replies land in your inbox as usual. Log the answer on their file, or tell Redline to book them.
Is this on the free plan?
Yes. Contacts, the pipeline, Gmail drafts and the Pro Page are free. Invoicing starts on Solo at $29 a month.
