Last year's houses, renewed before October.
Your best leads are the houses you lit last December. Redline finds the ones who haven't signed again, drafts the renewal emails, and books two visits for every house that says yes: the install in November and the takedown in January.
The lighting year in Redline
August: pull last year's list
Ask the chat "who did we install last season?" Redline reads your contacts and jobs, so last year's houses come back with what you did and what you charged.
Send the renewals
Have Redline draft a renewal email for each customer with last year's design and this year's price, sent from your own Gmail after you approve it. One at a time, so each one sounds like you.
Quote and collect the deposit
Build each quote by chat: roofline by the foot, trees and shrubs each, wreaths, timers. Once they say yes, invoice the deposit to lock the install date (Solo and up).
Book both visits
Install in November, takedown in January, two visits on the calendar per house. Optimize groups each week's installs by town.
Final invoice and outage calls
Invoice the balance after install. Mid-season outage calls are a single visit booked by chat.
Late August
12 houses from last season have no job this year yet. The biggest: Callahan ($2,850, roofline and 4 trees), Weiss ($2,100), Romano ($1,900). Want renewal emails drafted, starting with those three?
Three drafts are ready: Callahan at $2,992.50, Weiss at $2,205, Romano at $1,995, each with the early-sign discount. Review each one and tap Approve & send to send it from your Gmail.
Contacts, emails and quotes are on Free. Deposits and invoices need Solo. Example prices only.
What's on a holiday lighting quote
| Line | Unit |
|---|---|
| Roofline C9 lights | per linear ft |
| Ridge and peak lines | per linear ft |
| Tree wrapping | per tree, by height |
| Shrubs and net lights | each |
| Wreaths and garland | each |
| Timer or controller | each |
| Takedown and storage | flat |
| Mid-season service call | each |
Note whether the lights are company-owned or the customer's, on the job, so takedown and storage go to the right place.
Two visits per house, every house
Every signed customer means two trips: the install when the season starts and the takedown in January when nobody wants to be on a ladder. Miss the second and you've got a customer with lights up in February who calls someone else next year.
Booking the takedown the day you book the install fixes that. Both visits sit on the customer's file, and the January calendar fills up as you sell. When January comes, Optimize groups the takedowns by town the same way it did the installs.

Questions contractors ask
Can I email all my past customers at once?
No. Redline drafts each email for you to review and sends it from your own Gmail. For a list of a few dozen that's quick; it isn't a mass mailing tool.
Can my crew see install day on their phones?
On Team ($129 a month, 3 seats) and up. Each installer gets the tech app with their houses, notes on what goes where, and one-tap call.
What about customers who own their lights?
Note it on the job and in the quote. Redline keeps it on their file so next year's quote and this January's takedown get it right.
