Redline
Concrete estimates

From the tape to the yardage, quoted on site.

A 600 square foot driveway at 4 inches, a gravel base, mesh, a broom finish and the old slab broken out. Redline turns the dimensions into the quote with the yards worked out, and when the forecast turns, moves the pour in one message.

From measuring to pour day

  1. Measure and note the site

Length, width, thickness, what's coming out, access for the truck or the pump, and slope or drainage problems. Photos of the old slab help.

  2. Send the numbers

Redline can work out the yards from the area and thickness when you ask. Check it, add your waste, and it carries into the quote.

  3. Price the finish options

Broom finish, exposed aggregate or stamped and colored. Good, better and best, one draft per finish, each with base, steel, forms and sealer.

  4. Deposit and the pour date

Move it to Accepted and invoice the deposit (Solo and up). Book the pour day and the form day on the calendar.

  5. Rain? Move the pour

"Push the Garcia pour to Thursday." Redline moves it. Then call the plant; Redline doesn't talk to your ready-mix supplier.

A driveway replacement

Quote the Garcias. Driveway 20x30, 4 inch, tear out the old slab. 4 inches of gravel base, wire mesh. Options: broom, exposed aggregate, stamped ashlar slate. 40% deposit.
Redline

600 sq ft at 4 inches is about 7.4 yards. With 10% waste, call it 8.5. Three drafts for Luis Garcia, one per finish:

Broom $9,480

Exposed aggregate $11,220

Stamped ashlar slate $13,650

Each includes demo and haul-off, 4" gravel base, mesh, forms, 8.5 yd of 4,000 PSI and sealer. 40% deposit on each. Look right?

Save. Rain Wednesday, so if they sign, I'm pouring Thursday.
Redline

Approve them and they save on the Garcia file. Once they sign, tell me and I'll book Thursday's pour.

Quotes by chat work on every plan. Example prices only.

Weather and the deposit

Concrete is the trade where the calendar fights back. A pour needs the crew, the plant, the pump and a dry day all at once, and one of them always moves. Rescheduling is a sentence in Redline, and Optimize can suggest moves for the rest of the week so the next job isn't stacked on the same day.

The deposit matters because you're committing to material and a crew day before any concrete is in the ground. Put the percentage on the quote, invoice the deposit the day they sign, and check it's in before you book the plant.

Straight answers on concrete estimates

Redline does

  • Turn dimensions into an itemized quote
  • Work out yards when you ask (check it, add your waste)
  • A draft per finish option, each with a deposit
  • Move pour days by chat
  • Bill the deposit and the final (Solo and up)

Redline doesn't

  • Watch the forecast or move pours on its own
  • Order from or schedule with your ready-mix plant
  • Track cure times or cylinder tests
  • Let the customer accept the quote online
  • Chase an unpaid deposit

Questions contractors ask

Is the yardage math reliable?

It's straightforward arithmetic, but always check it like you'd check your own. Redline shows the yards it worked out so you can catch a wrong thickness before it's on the quote.

Can my crew see the pour schedule?

On Team ($129 a month, 3 seats) and up, each crew member gets the tech app with their day's jobs and the office notes. Group two for the day as one truck.

What if the old slab is thicker than I quoted?

Say what the demo line assumes on the quote ("breakout assumes 4 inch slab"). If it's 6 inches with rebar, tell Redline when you invoice and it goes in the total, with the reason in the line. Invoicing is on Solo at $29 a month.
