Lawn care agreement for April to November.

Mowing customers sign up in March and forget what they agreed to by July, when it hasn't rained in three weeks and they still got billed. Put the season, the rain-day rule and the drought rule on paper.

Lawn Care Service Agreement between [Your Company] ("we") and [Customer Name] ("you") for the property at [Service Address].

1. Season and frequency. Mowing [weekly / every other week] from about [start date] to [end date], depending on grass growth. Your regular service day is [day], and we may adjust it to keep our route running.

2. Each visit includes. Mow at [height] inches, string-trim around beds, fences, trees and structures, edge walks and driveway [every visit / every other visit], and blow clippings off hard surfaces. Clippings are [mulched back into the lawn / bagged and removed for $(amount)].

3. Optional services. [Spring cleanup / fall leaf cleanup / aeration and overseeding / fertilizer and weed control program / shrub trimming] are not included unless listed here, and are priced separately: [list with prices].

4. Price and payment. $[amount] per cut [or $(amount) per month, April through November]. Billed [after each cut / monthly at month end], due within [number] days. Accounts more than [number] days past due may be paused until paid.

5. Rain and weather. If it rains on your service day, we will mow on the next dry day we can. We do not mow soaked turf that would rut or tear. A week lost to weather [is not billed / is made up later in the season].

6. Drought and slow growth. When the lawn isn't growing (drought or summer heat), we may skip a cut or switch to every other week to protect the grass. Skipped cuts are not billed [on per-cut pricing]. [On monthly pricing, the monthly price stays the same and averages out over the season.]

7. Your part. Before service day, pick up toys, hoses, dog waste and anything else in the lawn. Mark sprinkler heads, invisible dog fence lines, low-voltage lighting and anything else hidden in the grass. We are not responsible for damage to unmarked items.

8. Access. You will leave gates unlocked on service day and keep pets inside. If we cannot get in, the visit [is billed / is skipped].

9. Cancellation. Either of us may end this agreement with [number] days' notice in writing. Cuts done up to that date are billed.

10. Liability. We carry general liability insurance and will fix damage we cause through our own negligence. We are not responsible for thrown objects from items left in the lawn, or for lawn conditions caused by weather, pests, disease or watering.

What this agreement covers

  • The mowing season, the frequency and a regular service day you can move to keep the route tight
  • Mow height, trim, edge, blow and what happens to the clippings
  • Per-cut or monthly pricing, with how each one handles skipped weeks
  • A rain-day rule and a drought rule, the two fights of every mowing season
  • Hidden things in the lawn (sprinkler heads, dog fence wire) as the customer's job to mark

Running the route in Redline

Book the first Thursday cut and repeat it every week, ending on your last-cut date in November. Save "Weekly mow" and "Biweekly mow" as presets, and each signed agreement goes on the calendar in one tap. When it rains Thursday, move that one visit to Friday and the rest of the season stays put. Optimize suggests moves that group the week's cuts by town name, which helps, but it isn't map routing.

Monthly or per cut, the invoicing is yours to send. On Solo ($29 a month), "invoice the Parkers $180 for October's 4 cuts" drafts it, and the card pay link goes out from your Gmail or gets copied wherever you need it. Nothing bills automatically each month. The lawn care invoicing and lawn care scheduling pages go deeper.

Sign them in March, book them in one tap.
