Handyman work order for the honey-do list.

The customer walked you through the house and listed nine things. Some take ten minutes, the TV takes an hour, and the grab bars depend on what's behind the tile. This sheet turns that walk into tasks with hours, materials and who's buying what.

What this template covers

  • Every task on its own line with hours, so the customer sees where the day went
  • Small repeat tasks priced per door or per fixture instead of by the hour
  • Who supplied what, so a cheap mount isn't on you
  • A line for things they add on the day, to quote separately instead of squeezing in
  • Where handyman work stops and a licensed trade starts

Doing it in Redline

Walk the house with your phone and drop each item into Quick-Sort as you go: a photo of the door that sticks, a note about the tile, "TV mount, customer has it". Later, Redline suggests where each one belongs and one tap files it to Barbara. Or send the whole list to the chat and have it build a quote by the hour, saved on her file.

At 2pm, "invoice Barbara Lindqvist, 5.5 hours at $85 plus $55 materials" drafts one $522.50 invoice and, on Solo ($29 a month), you send her a card pay link before the next stop. Redline doesn't clock your hours, so you tell it the time. The handyman invoice app page shows how the day's billing goes.

From the walk-through to the pay link.

Redline is free to start. Quick-Sort and quotes on Free, invoicing on Solo.
