What this template covers

  • The diagnostic shown at $0 with the credit written out, so the customer sees they weren't charged twice
  • Each part on its own line with a spot for the part number
  • The return trip and expedited shipping as separate, honest lines
  • Flat labor for the repair itself
  • The parts deposit from visit 1 taken off after tax

Two-visit jobs are where money gets lost: the part comes in, the return trip happens, and the bill never goes out. In Redline the job stays in your pipeline as In Progress until you say "invoice Walsh $227.19, fridge repair balance after the $150 parts deposit". Redline drafts it as one amount with a one-line description, so keep this itemized sheet if she wants the parts listed. Approve it, then copy the card pay link from the invoice in Money and paste it into an email to her.

Drop a photo of the rating plate into Quick-Sort and file it to her contact, so the model and serial are in her notes the next time she calls. Invoicing is on Solo, $29 a month with a 7-day free trial. See appliance repair software or Quick-Sort.

Close out the return trip on the spot.

Start free, then turn on Solo so the visit-two bill goes out as a card pay link on your own Stripe account.
