Contractor Foreman alternatives for shorter jobs and smaller crews.
Contractor Foreman is construction management at a budget price: estimates, schedules, daily logs, time cards and QuickBooks sync. If your jobs run days rather than months, you may be paying for project tools you don't open.
Who Contractor Foreman is for
Contractor Foreman targets budget-minded general contractors, remodelers and specialty contractors, typically under 20 employees. Estimates and invoices live in the project record, alongside project schedules, daily logs (weather, crew, safety notes, materials, progress), GPS-verified time cards with geofencing that feed job costing, and a QuickBooks Online sync for estimates, invoices and expenses.
Contractor Foreman's plan page lists Basic at $49 a month for 1 user, Standard $79 for up to 3, Plus $125 for up to 8, Pro $166 for up to 15 and Unlimited $249, all billed annually. Monthly billing is offered too, but we didn't capture those prices. There's a 30-day trial and a 100-day money-back guarantee.
That's a lot of construction tooling for the money. The reason to look around is job shape. If your week is a tub surround, two deck bids and a punch list on last month's kitchen, daily logs and budgets sit unused and the annual bill is what you notice. Two-way comparison: Redline vs Contractor Foreman.

Questions contractors ask
Does Redline do change orders?
Not as a separate document. Add the extra work to the job or a new quote, then invoice it on Solo. If signed change orders are how you protect yourself on a remodel, Contractor Foreman or Joist handles that better.
Can Redline track my crew's hours?
No. There are no time cards, timesheets or clock-in, so profit per job counts materials and expenses but not labor.
Is Contractor Foreman cheaper than Redline?
It depends on headcount and how you pay. By each vendor's own pricing page: for one person, Contractor Foreman Basic is $49 a month billed annually and Redline Solo is $29 month to month. For three, Contractor Foreman Standard is $79 billed annually and Redline Team is $129 month to month ($103 a month billed yearly). Contractor Foreman includes construction tools Redline doesn't have.
