Detail done, paid before you coil the hose.
You're in the customer's driveway with a finished SUV and a van full of wet towels. Tell Redline the package and the add-ons, hand them a card pay link, and book their maintenance wash before you leave.
From last wipe-down to the next booking
Say the package and the extras
"Full detail, SUV, pet hair, ozone treatment." Your package prices by vehicle size come from memory once you've told Redline what they are.
Approve the invoice
The pay link goes live. Copy it to the customer however they reached you, or paste it into an email Redline drafts for your own Gmail.
They pay by card on their phone
On your own Stripe account, with no Redline fee on top of Stripe's. The page they paid on is their receipt, and the iPhone app pushes you when it lands.
Book the maintenance wash
Add the next wash in the calendar with a repeat every 2, 3 or 4 weeks. One save puts the season on your calendar.
Deposits on the big jobs
Ceramic coating or paint correction? Quote it with a deposit percentage, then invoice the deposit amount to hold the day.
A dog owner's SUV
Draft for Marcus Bell: $475, "Full detail, mid-size SUV, with pet hair removal, ozone treatment and headlight restoration (pair)." That's your $260 package plus $50, $75 and $90 for the extras. Approve?
Pay link's live. The chat books one visit at a time, so for the series use Add event in the calendar: the 28th, repeat every 3 weeks. One save books the whole run.
Invoicing is on Solo ($29 a month) and up. Booking is free. Example prices only.
What goes on a detailing invoice
- The package by vehicle size: sedan, mid-size SUV, truck, third-row
- Pet hair removal, priced for the time it really takes
- Odor or ozone treatment
- Condition fee for the sand, the spilled milkshake, the mold
- Paint correction per stage or per hour
- Ceramic coating balance: the total minus the deposit they already paid
- Travel fee if they're outside your area
Getting paid without the awkward part
Mobile detailers get paid in a dozen ways: cash, an app transfer, "I'll send it tonight". The last one is the problem. A pay link handed over while they're admiring the car gets paid then, by card, and it's tied to the invoice so you're not matching payments at midnight.
The bigger money is the next visit. A customer who books a maintenance wash before you leave is worth several one-time details. Putting it on the calendar as a repeating series while you're standing there turns a good detail into a regular.
