HVAC work order for the no-cool call.

July, 3 in the afternoon, the house is at 84. The tech needs the equipment info, what the customer said on the phone, the readings to take and a place to write what was replaced. Here's that sheet.

What this template covers

  • The common no-cool parts preloaded with replace only if notes, so the tech tests before swapping
  • Refrigerant per pound, with a reminder to leak-check before topping off
  • Check: lines for superheat, subcooling, temperature split and the condensate drain
  • Model, serial and install year, the info you need for warranty and the replace-or-repair talk
  • Thermostat settings on arrival and departure, which saves the 6pm callback

Doing it in Redline

When the call comes in, "add a job for Grace Okafor, no cool, outdoor fan not running" makes the job, and the job's notes carry the equipment info and the attic access to the tech's phone. On Team ($129 a month for 3 seats), "put Marcus on the Okafor call" dispatches it. He taps En route and On job so the board shows where the day stands, snaps the supply house receipt for the capacitor in the tech app, and marks it done.

Back in the office, invoice it by chat on Solo or up with a card pay link the customer can pay from her phone. Redline has no price book, so the chat uses the numbers you give it or that it has remembered. The HVAC dispatch page covers a full July day, and the HVAC invoice template is the bill that follows this sheet.

Redline is free to start. Dispatch and the tech app are on Team.
